Although it is a zone-focus camera, it becomes extremely easy to use once you get used to it, and its image quality is superb. The helicoid distance scale is marked in both meters and feet.
The Tessar 40mm offers a wonderfully balanced angle of view and generous depth of field. From around 6m onward, everything falls into the infinity range, so focusing can be done fairly roughly without worry. The calm, rich rendering of the Tessar is simply irresistible.
The Rollei 35 is a classic compact 35mm camera designed by Heinz Waaske, and it went on to influence many later camera designs. It achieved one of the smallest bodies ever made for a 35mm full-frame camera. With the lens collapsed, it becomes wonderfully compact. Easy to carry anywhere, it remains a highly popular classic among everyone from film camera beginners to seasoned users. It also features a practical built-in exposure meter.

Originally sold by us, this piece was carefully used by its previous owner and has now returned to our shop.
It shows an overall well-used, well-loved appearance. There are small dings on the upper right rear of the top cover, the left side when viewed from the front, and the left side of the bottom plate. Aside from these, there are no significant scratches, and it is clear the camera has been handled with care.
The bubbling in the paint on the top cover and advance lever, along with the subtle brassing peeking through, create an irresistible character for vintage enthusiasts. It is quite rare to find a Rollei 35 aged so beautifully.
All functions, including film advance and shutter operation, are working perfectly. The light meter is accurate enough for practical use. The viewfinder is clear with a bright, unobstructed view.
The lens is very clean, free from cleaning marks or haze, offering excellent clarity.
It comes with the original lens cap, strap, and case.
