Leica M9-P Black Paint, model 10703. Serial number in the 4.23 million range, manufactured in 2011. This is the second-generation digital Leica M camera. The colors produced by its CCD sensor continue to enjoy passionate support from dedicated fans even today.
On the M9-P, the red Leica logo on the front has been removed, giving the camera a sharper and more refined appearance. It also retains classic Leica M-style design elements, such as the illumination window that allows the bright frames to remain visible even when the power is off. Sadly, this window was removed from the M240 and later models, which switched to an electronic system.
Of course, this example has already had its CCD sensor replaced with the updated version. The shutter count is still fairly low at approximately 39,300 shots. It is in beautiful cosmetic condition and comes complete with the original box, instruction manual, charger, and other accessories.
This camera was cherished and used with great care for many years by one of our customers. Overall, it shows very little sign of use and remains in exceptionally beautiful condition. It is hard to believe that 15 years have passed since its manufacture.
All functions are working properly. The rangefinder view is also clear. The CCD sensor shows no noticeable scratches or dirt. Our test shooting results were very good, and you can fully enjoy the beautiful color rendition unique to the M9.
As this is a digital camera, our warranty covers initial defects only.
