Nikon F, serial number in the 641xxxx range, commonly known as Roku-Yon-Ichi. This is an early model of the Nikon F, a true milestone in camera history that needs no introduction. Based on the Nikon S series, a stable, robust, and compact 35mm film camera system, it added a bright, easy-to-use SLR mechanism.

It features quickly and easily interchangeable finders and focusing screens, the dedicated Nikon F-mount bayonet, and an accurate, durable shutter mechanism. Equipped with a highly durable titanium foil shutter curtain, the Nikon F remains easy to use even by modern standards. Its design and manufacturing quality, which still allow it to operate reliably today, are truly impressive.

There is one small ding on the front of the pentaprism housing. Light signs of use can be seen to the left and right of the Nikon nameplate, but overall the exterior is quite attractive. In keeping with this, the lens mount area and the bottom of the baseplate are also in good condition.

All functions work properly. During our inspection, we were very impressed by its stable, crisp operation. A tough and excellent camera that feels far removed from any concern about breakdowns.
