Leica Pistol, introduced in 1935. Leitz code SCNOO. This example is finished in black and nickel.
A convenient accessory that allows the camera to be advanced smoothly with the left hand. Once attached, it gives your Barnack Leica an incredibly cool appearance.
It can be fitted to Leica DII, DIII, IIIa and similar models with serial numbers from 159000 onward. Earlier models can also be used if a notch is added to the winding shaft.
Although it has become an expensive enthusiast’s accessory in recent years, it is surely one of those fascinating items that always stays in the back of the mind of any Barnack Leica user. A rare piece.
This is an item previously sold by our shop. It was carefully used by the customer and has now returned to us. We are always happy to buy back or take in accessories previously sold by our shop, so please feel free to contact us.
There is some paint loss on the black-painted areas, but the black paint and nickel plating still have a beautiful shine, and the silver inlay remains clearly intact. As a nickel Leica Pistol, this is a very clean example. The matte black paint on the inside of the base plate shows some signs of use.
Depending on the camera body used, the film may not advance fully in one stroke, but in many cases the cause is on the camera body side. In such cases, we can adjust the synchronization with the body at our shop. For bodies purchased elsewhere, this service will be charged.
Comes with the original box.
