Rollei 35S in silver finish. Even the leatherette is silver!
This is the special model released in 1979 to commemorate the production of one million Rollei 35 cameras. This is the European version without the laurel wreath mark, while the North American version came with the laurel wreath mark. Made in Singapore.
It is fitted with the fast f2.8 Sonnar lens with Rollei’s proprietary HFT, High-Fidelity-Transfer, coating. The rendering is, needless to say, pure Sonnar. The 40mm angle of view is wonderfully versatile, and the camera fits comfortably in the hand, making it easy to take anywhere and truly enjoyable to shoot with.
As it is a zone-focus camera, it may take a little getting used to at first, but it will surely become a great companion for snapshots.
Please do not forget the proper Rollei 35 ritual: wind the film before collapsing the lens into the body. Failure to do so may cause damage.

This camera was sold by our shop about 20 years ago, and after many years, it has now found its way back to us. It shows virtually no signs of use and has a very beautiful body.
In May 2026, it was serviced by a specialist, including maintenance of the shutter and film advance mechanism. All functions are working properly, so you can use it with confidence. Matching its beautiful exterior, the lens also shows no noticeable scratches or haze.
The helicoid movement is a little on the heavy side. We can also arrange servicing for this separately at additional cost.
It comes with the original box, display case, serial-number-matching card issued by Rollei Singapore, two instruction manuals, English and Japanese, service card, and genuine UV filter. A fine example, also well suited for a collection.
