Konica Hexar 35mm f2. Silver barrel. Leica screw mount. Rangefinder coupled. Released in 1996, this lens was produced by Fujisawa Shokai. It was issued as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces.
This is the standalone lens version of the lens originally fitted to the Konica Hexar, a leaf-shutter AF camera, where it earned an excellent reputation.
The optical design is a modified Xenotar type with 7 elements in 6 groups. It delivers high resolution from around wide open. Some smearing can be seen in the corners, but the overall image quality at f2 is impressively solid, as expected.
Minimum focusing distance is 0.9m. The lightweight barrel weighs 145g on our scale. Filter size is 46mm screw-in.

The matte silver finish shines beautifully, and the barrel is in exceptionally clean condition. No signs of use can be seen, giving it a very much like-new appearance.
All functions operate properly. The helicoid moves smoothly as well. This lens is known to have many examples with less-than-perfect rangefinder coupling, but this one is spot-on. In our experience, examples of this lens that couple this accurately are quite rare. On our Leica M10-P demo body, focus was dead-on from wide open.
The glass shows only the slightest traces of dust or dirt, which should have virtually no effect on photography. There are no noticeable scratches. The results from our actual shooting test were also excellent.
The original hood and hood cap are included.
