The SBLOO is Leica’s classic external 35mm viewfinder, later assigned the product code 12010. This example is the early version featuring the Leitz logo within a hexagon. Introduced in 1951, it succeeded the WEISU viewfinder.

Perfect for Barnack Leicas without a built-in 35mm frame and, of course, the M3. Even on Leica cameras with a built-in 35mm frame, simply attaching this viewfinder makes the camera feel all the more special. It offers a wonderfully bright and brilliant view.

A timeless Leica masterpiece, ideal for street photography and everyday snapshots.

The base shows a fair amount of light rubbing and some glossy wear. There is also a very minor rub mark on the side, though it is hardly noticeable. Otherwise, it shows little sign of use and remains in clean cosmetic condition.

The glass is free from noticeable haze or dust, offering the bright, crisp, and clear view characteristic of the SBLOO finder.

Test-fitted on our Leica M3. Comes with the original case, which shows some signs of use.
