Leitz 50mm standalone finder, SUWOO. It appears to have been introduced around 1935. This example is the black/chrome (semi-chrome) version.
Originally intended as the finder for the Leitz single-frame shooting devices OLEYO or OLIGO, it is essentially the same finder used as a 5cm finder for the Leica A, B, C, and Standard models. It does not carry the Leitz logo.

Nickel-foot versions of the SUWOO occasionally appear on the market, but this example has a chrome foot, which is considered quite rare.

Its design also closely resembles the popular 35mm standalone finder WEISU.

A rare collector’s piece.

Some brass is showing through in places from use. The glass shows slight haze, but the finder remains clear and pleasant to use.
