Lens hood for Elmar 50mm lenses. The Leitz product code is FISON / 12510. A36 size, slip-on type.
There are many different versions of the FISON despite sharing the same code name, making it an interesting accessory to study by period. This chrome FISON is probably the most common version.
It fits various generations of A36-size Elmar lenses.

There is an extremely slight rub mark on the stopper screw, but the hood itself shows virtually no signs of use and is in beautiful condition. The matte black finish inside the hood is also very well preserved. Fit has been checked on a Red Scale Elmar.
Almost too nice to use 😅 A great piece for a collection.

Original box is included.
