Voigtländer Color-Skopar 28mm f2.8 Aspherical for Leica L mount. Finished in a handsome black paint. The infinity lock button and helicoid stopper are elaborately made with nickel plating. Its design closely resembles the Leica Summaron and Nikon 28mm lenses for Leica mount. It was produced and sold for only about a year starting in 2023. Despite employing modern optical design and aspherical elements, it is fascinating how little of that modernity is apparent from the exterior.

A thoroughly modern design with 5 groups and 8 elements, incorporating two aspherical surfaces and two anomalous partial dispersion glass elements. Despite its compact size, it achieves a bright maximum aperture of f2.8. Naturally, performance is stable even wide open. Meter scale focusing. Minimum focusing distance is 0.7m. Uses a 34mm screw-in filter.

Shows virtually no signs of use and is literally in like-new condition. The manufacturer warranty remains valid until November 2026.

All functions operate properly. As also stated on the manufacturer’s website, the helicoid has a very pleasing feel with just the right amount of torque resistance.

The glass is beautifully clear, with no haze or cleaning marks.
