Leicavit SYOOM for the Leica IIIf and IIIg. A rapid film advance device and successor to the Leica Pistol. Three-line engraving.

By pulling the trigger, the film can be advanced quickly. It is faster than winding with the camera body's knob, allowing you to capture photo opportunities without taking your eye away from the viewfinder. A favorite accessory of press photographers in its day.

A nice accessory that instantly improves both the camera's appearance and handling as soon as it is attached.

Unlike the earlier Leica Pistol, another welcome feature is that the camera can stand upright on a desk with the Leicavit attached.

There are numerous scuffs with a shiny appearance, as well as small scratches. There is also a dent on the left side when viewed from the front, along with small scratches on the edges. There are no issues with mounting or operation.

Overhauled in October 2026. The locking mechanism and trigger action are both in excellent working order.

We have tested it on several Leica IIIf and IIIg cameras in our shop. It fitted without any problems on most bodies, although the fit was tight with some combinations. Please feel free to contact us if you encounter any problems.
