Leica 50mm viewfinder. Leitz product code SBOOI, later known as 12015. A masterpiece finder from Leitz, filled with simple functional beauty. Looking through it somehow makes the world appear a little more beautiful — a small item of pure happiness.
This example is the early version engraved 5cm. As with many classic Leitz accessories, the SBOOI exists in numerous variations — we are aware of nearly eight types alone — and this one features knurled grips on both sides, a black-painted eyepiece section, and the common single screw underneath the accessory shoe.

Minor signs of use and small paint loss to the black finish can be seen, but there is no notable damage and the finder remains in very good cosmetic condition.
The optics are clean, offering the wonderfully bright and crystal-clear view characteristic of the SBOOI.
