A close-up attachment for Leica M-mount cameras. The product code was SOOKY-M or SOMKY, later changed to 16507.

When used with a collapsible Summicron 50mm f2 or Elmar 50mm f2.8 collapsed into the attachment, it enables close-up photography from approximately 1m to 0.5m. When using a rigid Summicron, the lens head must be removed and mounted via the UOORF/16508 adapter.

It was originally released for the Leica M3, but it can also be used with current digital Leica M cameras. When attaching the lens, press the collapsible section firmly inward and rotate it clockwise to lock it in place.

An accessory that every close-up enthusiast will want to try at least once.

There are one or two light scuff marks on the lens-side mount surface. Other than that, there are no noticeable scratches or scuffs, and the exterior is in beautiful condition.

There is a small amount of dust inside the finder glass, but no noticeable haze or other issues. The helicoid also operates smoothly.

Tested on a Leica M10-P. Focus is good. For those moments when you just want to get one step closer!
