Rolleicord V with a Schneider Xenar 75mm f3.5. Equipped with a Synchro-Compur shutter offering speeds up to 1/500. Serial number in the 1.55 million range. Manufactured between 1954 and 1957.
The Rolleicord, positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Rolleiflex, omits features such as the Automat mechanism, yet remains more than sufficient in practical use. Its simple construction and light weight are part of its appeal, and it continues to be favored by many enthusiasts.
This is a well-preserved Rolleicord with relatively little sign of use, in very good condition.
Previously sold by our shop, this piece has been carefully used by its owner and has now returned to us.
There is minor paint wear on the back door from use, but overall it remains in very nice condition, unchanged from when we last sold it.
Overhauled in 2024. Thanks to careful servicing, all functions continue to operate smoothly. The shutter and aperture lever, which can often feel heavy, now operate with a light and pleasant touch. The focusing screen is the crosshair type, with a single line running vertically and horizontally, intersecting at the center.
The taking lens is free from cleaning marks and remains crystal clear. Previous owners, all customers of our shop, have enjoyed using it for actual photography, and it is ready to be used with confidence as is. Enjoy the gentle, refined rendering of the Xenar, distinct from the top-tier Planar or Xenotar lenses.
It comes with a non-original lens cap, a genuine H1 filter, as well as non-original protective and ND filters—useful accessories for practical use.
The price includes domestic shipping within Japan and consumption tax.
