Nippon Kogaku marked Nikon 3.5cm finder for the Nikon S series. Introduced in 1957, this is an early version with the Mt. Fuji logo. The eyepiece is large, providing a bright and easy-to-view image.
A perfect companion for Nikkor 35mm f1.8, f2.5, and f3.5 lenses.
In practical, user-ready condition.

Heavily used, with a subdued, timeworn character. There is plenty of wear such as paint loss along the edges and general scuffing, but the Mt. Fuji logo on the top remains clearly intact.

The glass was professionally cleaned in March 2026. There are numerous light cleaning marks on the front element, along with a small amount of dust inside, but the view is clear when looking through it. The 35mm frame is also clearly visible.

A perfect match in both look and feel for well-used Nikon S series bodies, especially black paint models.
