Introduced in 1984, the M6 was upgraded to the TTL model in 1998 and remained in production until 2002, making it a true long-selling model. A total of approximately 170,000 units were produced. It features a 0.72x viewfinder and a built-in light meter, with exposure indicated by red LEDs inside the viewfinder.

Its ease of use and high reliability have earned it enduring popularity. In 2022, the M6 was reintroduced as a current production model.

A beautiful example with a brilliant silver chrome finish. It shows little sign of use, with only light mounting marks on the lens mount surface and minor wear to the strap lugs.

It received a thorough full overhaul by a specialist in July 2026. All controls operate smoothly, and the exposure meter works properly. The finder has also been cleaned and offers a clear and bright view. The rangefinder contrast is slightly low, but remains fully practical for use.
