Our original hood for Elmar lenses, the FB-07. The retaining screw is blackened brass. This is a used item in like-new condition, with no signs of use.

A hood with aperture control access — something that surprisingly did not exist before. Designed for A36 Elmar 50mm lenses, it is compatible with a wide range of examples, from early 1920s Elmars to the final red-scale Elmar. Since dimensions vary depending on the production period, we gathered multiple examples from each era and determined the optimum size.

Incidentally, it can also be used with the wide-angle Elmar 35mm f/3.5 without vignetting.

This hood has returned to us from one of our customers together with a lens.

It is the most popular version, with blackened brass finish, and is in like-new condition.

There are no signs of use on the aperture control tab or the blackened brass screw. Please enjoy watching it develop its own character with age.
