Leica M9-P Black Paint. 10703. A second-generation digital M from Leica. The colors produced by its CCD sensor continue to enjoy strong support from dedicated enthusiasts even today. On the M9-P, the red Leica logo on the front was removed, giving it a more understated and refined appearance.
It retains the traditional M design, including the illumination window that allows the bright frames to remain visible even when the power is off. Unfortunately, this feature was discontinued from the M240 onward, where the system was changed to electronically illuminated frame lines.
This example has already had its CCD sensor replaced with the updated version. Despite being approximately 15 years old, the shutter count is only around 7,700 exposures. Its beautiful exterior and smooth operation throughout clearly show how carefully it has been treasured. The original box, documents, charger, and complete accessories are included.
It underwent partial servicing at Leica Japan last year. An excellent choice for those seeking a well-documented and well-maintained example with a trustworthy history.

It has a beautiful exterior appearance. There are only minimal signs of use such as light scuffs and small scratches, and the semi-matte black paint finish remains well preserved.

In June 2025, the previous owner had the focus adjusted, the sensor cleaned, and the viewfinder serviced by Leica Japan.

We have also carefully inspected the camera in our shop. Upon visual inspection, no sensor scratches or dead pixels were found. All functions operate properly, and image quality in our test shots was excellent. The viewfinder is clear and bright.

The original box is included, along with the instruction manuals in Japanese, German, and English, the Leica Japan service record, charger, one battery, cables, and the body cap.
