A Leitz Canada Elmar 65mm f3.5, product code 11062, paired with its dedicated 16464K OTZFO focusing mount. The serial number is in the 2.28 million range, dating the lens to 1968. The minimum focusing distance is 33cm. It accepts E41 screw-in filters, the same size used by the Summarit and the Steel Rim Summilux. The optical construction consists of 4 elements in 3 groups. Preset diaphragm.
Designed for the Visoflex system, this Viso-Elmar offers outstanding close-focusing performance and is highly regarded by both our customers and staff.
When mounted on a Visoflex II or III, it allows an M-series Leica to focus continuously from 33cm to infinity. With the VISOFLEX - LEICA M adapter also available from our shop, its superb rendering can be enjoyed on a digital Leica M using live view.
A highly capable lens that performs beautifully at every distance, from close-up work to infinity, even on current digital M cameras. It is one of our discreetly popular staples. No hood is required, making it exceptionally compact and convenient in use.
A beautiful Visoflex Elmar that still retains the fresh appearance of a new lens. There are a few small marks on the helicoid ring, but without these, it could easily be described as mint. A truly attractive example.
Fully overhauled in July 2026. Thanks to meticulous servicing, both the aperture and helicoid operate smoothly, with just the right amount of torque. It is worlds apart from the loose, rattling feel often found in other Visoflex Elmars. The controls have such a beautifully damped, almost fluid feel that you may find yourself turning the rings repeatedly for no particular reason.
The glass is free from cleaning marks and haze, with excellent clarity. An excellent example that allows you to fully enjoy the lens’s original optical performance.
Supplied with the original front cap, the surprisingly rare dedicated rear cap for the lens head, and the original box.
