Lens hood for Nikkor 50mm f1.4. Compatible with Leica screw mount and Nikon S mount. 43mm diameter, two-piece screw-in type. AN-43mm. Early version with an aluminum hood section. A Series VII filter can be inserted between the hood and the hood base.

In addition to the 50mm f1.4, it also fits S-mount Nikkor 35mm f2.5 and 35mm f3.5 lenses. When a filter ring is attached to the front of the hood, slight vignetting occurs at the corners with 35mm lenses, confirmed by actual shooting tests.
For the 28mm f3.5, corner vignetting occurs, and the original instruction manual states that it should not be used as a hood.
Note that early versions of the Nikon S-mount 35mm f3.5 do not have filter threads and cannot be mounted.

There are slight signs of use and minor corrosion on the aluminum hood section, but overall it remains in sufficiently good cosmetic condition.
Confirmed to fit Nikkor lenses with a 43mm filter thread.
