Leica 28mm finder, plastic-bodied version. Leica product code 12009.
This model is the successor to the SLOOZ, 12007, and the Leitz-marked plastic finder 12017.

It may be unfair to compare it with the superb all-metal SLOOZ 28mm finder from earlier days, but its greatest advantage is its extremely light weight, measuring only about 17 grams.
The view is clear and comfortable, making it a very welcome finder for those who are starting to find heavier equipment a bit demanding.

There are two or three very faint hairline marks on the upper part of the finder, but otherwise the white printed logo remains crisp and unfaded, and the overall appearance is very clean. The glass shows no haze, and the view is clear and bright.
The original leather case is included. Domestic shipping is included in the price.
