Our original lens hood for the Elmar, the FB-07. The locking screw is blackened brass. This is a pre-owned item in like-new condition, showing no signs of use.
A lens hood with an aperture control function, something that always felt like it should have existed but somehow did not. Designed for A36 Elmar 50mm lenses. It is compatible with a wide range of lenses, from early Elmars of the 1920s to the final Red Scale Elmar.
As dimensions vary slightly depending on the production period, we gathered and examined multiple examples from different eras to determine the optimal size.
Incidentally, it can also be used with the wide-angle Elmar 35mm f3.5 without vignetting.
