Overall it shows a nicely used character, with the glossy black finish still remaining, giving it a very pleasing appearance. Fully overhauled in 2025. The aperture and helicoid operate with a smooth, damped feel and just the right amount of torque. Angénieux lenses often use many aluminum parts, and it is not uncommon to find examples with looseness or overly light operation, but this one feels completely different. Rangefinder coupling is spot on. The glass shows some coating wear and a few very minor marks on the front element, but for an Angénieux it is more than sufficiently clean.
