Alpa 11si. The top cover features black crinkle finish, while the bottom cover is finished in black paint. This is the final model in the Alpa lineup and also the most popular. It is a camera known for its ease of use and high reliability.
The 11si was produced between 1976 and 1989, with 412 units in silver chrome and 768 units in black chrome / black paint finish. The black versions exist in both crinkle finish and black chrome variants.
Compared to its predecessor, the 11el, the 11si replaces the CdS meter with an SPD light sensor offering a wider metering range and faster response. In addition, the exposure display was upgraded to a three-color LED system. The small signal-light-like lamps, softly visible in the viewfinder and through the top cover, have a charming, almost traffic-signal-like appearance. A truly delightful exposure system.
This example is a Europe-market specification without the crest on the front of the pentaprism, giving it a clean and cool look. The body serial number matches the manufacturing number on the bottom plate.
The original box is included and the serial number on the box also matches, confirming that this camera was sold as a body-only set.

This item was previously sold by our shop and has now returned to us once again. It has been carefully used and remains in the same good condition as when it was last sold. There are some light rub marks and slight shine on the top of the pentaprism and on the edges of the top cover, but overall it is a quite clean and well-kept example.
Serviced by a professional technician in 2025, including regreasing, focus adjustment, and exposure meter calibration. The exposure meter operates with a behavior close to spot metering and functions properly. A 4SR44 battery is included for testing purposes.
The matching original outer box and inner box are included, along with a brief manual in five languages (French, German, English, Italian, and Spanish). Also included is the dedicated strap lug for attaching a strap, an accessory that is difficult to obtain on its own.
