Summicron-M 35mm f2, the well-regarded 7-element version in black chrome finish. Leitz product code is 11310. Serial number is in the 3.6 million range, made in Germany in 1992. Overseas, it is often referred to as the Bokeh King for its beautiful rendering.

As the third generation of the Summicron 35mm, the 7-element, 5-group design represents a natural and refined evolution of Leica’s M-mount wide-angle lenses. While the exterior design became more minimal, its optical performance remains exceptional. It offers rich tonal gradation, excellent resolution, and wonderfully smooth, dense bokeh, all wrapped in a clean and functional form. The weight is a pleasantly light 156 grams in actual measurement.

The contemporary matching hood is the included 12524, though IROOA, 12585, and 12504 hoods are also compatible.

This item was previously sold by our shop and has now returned. It was carefully used by the customer and remains in the same excellent condition as when it was first sold. There are no signs of use, and it still retains the feel of a brand-new lens from its original release. Needless to say, it pairs beautifully with a new Leica body.
All functions operate properly, and the handling is smooth and pleasant. Rangefinder coupling is perfectly accurate.
The glass is exceptionally clean with no cleaning marks or haze, offering a crisp and brilliantly clear view. You can fully enjoy the signature rendering of the Bokeh King.
