Our original hood for the Elmar, the FB-07. The locking screw is made of bare brass.
A hood with built-in aperture control, something that feels like it should have existed, but never did. Designed for A36 Elmar 50mm lenses. It is compatible with a wide range of lenses, from the 1920s Anastigmat and Elmax to early Elmars and Red Scale Elmars. Since the dimensions of the Elmar vary depending on the production period, we gathered numerous samples from different eras and worked out the optimal size.
It can also be used with the A36 Elmar 35mm f3.5.
From design and prototyping to full production, every step was carried out here in Japan. A genuine Made in Japan product.
This is a piece we have poured our heart into, created over the course of more than a year together with our staff, manufacturing partners, and customers who kindly shared their feedback. The locking screw is engraved with our shop logo.

This item was originally displayed in our shop as new stock, but upon reinspection we found a tiny mark on the hood section. There is also a very slight paint loss on the knurled part at the front, but otherwise it remains in beautiful, unused condition.
The regular new price is 28,000 yen, so this one is just a little bit of a bargain♪
