Bakelite cap made exclusively for the Summitar. It seems that only a very small number were produced around 1940, and this cap is rarely seen.

Although it is E39 size, it does not fit the Summicron, which has a slightly larger outer diameter, and is made exclusively for the Summitar. A classic cap with a solid, substantial feel.

A rare piece.

Shows little signs of use, with no cracks or chips, and remains in beautiful condition. The velvet lining inside the cap is also in good shape.

Confirmed to fit the Summitar. It fits very nicely.
