Leica genuine leather case from the later M3 and M2 era. Leitz catalog number is IDCWO. The tripod screw is the small type.
Compared to standard cases, the front section for the lens is lower in profile, making it suitable for collapsible Elmars and collapsible Summicrons. It also accommodates the Summaron 35mm and the eight-element Summicron.
The case is shorter than earlier versions, giving it a more stylish profile. Please note that a light meter set cannot be attached.
A case that is somewhat uncommon.

The condition is excellent for an original leather case, with the leather still firm and well preserved.
