A genuine Leitz body cap. The code number is IVZOO, later changed to 14056.

This example is the rare double-circle type, with a chrome center on the reverse side and blackened brass around it. We might call it the white-center, black-outer double-circle version, haha.

The IVZOO also comes in many variations, making it an item that really stirs the collector’s appetite. That is one of the true pleasures of Leica!

Some signs of use are visible, but it remains in very nice condition. Mounting has been checked on a Leica M body.
