There is a small scratch near the 25-feet mark on the distance scale, and a few faint rub marks elsewhere, but overall it shows minimal signs of use and remains in beautiful condition.
It underwent a complete overhaul in 2019 at the time of its first sale, and thanks to the careful servicing, both the aperture ring and helicoid still operate with excellent smoothness today.
The glass is completely clear with no cleaning marks or haze—an exceptional example. Finding a rigid-mount Summicron with glass this clean has become quite difficult in recent years.
Rangefinder coupling is perfectly accurate, and you can fully enjoy the sharp and powerful rendering characteristic of the Summicron even at full aperture.
