Leica M6 Classic Titanium model, Leica M6 Titanium. The Leica product code is 10412. The serial number is in the 2 million range, manufactured in 1994. The viewfinder magnification is 0.72.
The M6 Titanium was announced at Photokina in 1992 and went on sale the same year. Despite its name, it is not made of solid titanium; instead, the top cover and bottom plate are brass with a titanium finish. The covering features an ostrich-style pattern, giving the camera a luxurious appearance. In contrast, the standard Leica M6 uses zinc alloy components.
There are about three small marks on the corner near the film counter, one scratch near the center of the bottom plate, and a very slight ding on the edge of the advance crank. All of these are minor and not noticeable at a glance. Aside from these, there are very few scuffs or rub marks, and considering that the paint on the M6 Titanium is prone to wear, this is a quite clean example.
Fully overhauled in December 2025. Film advance, shutter, and all other functions are working smoothly, and the light meter operates accurately. The viewfinder is also clean and clear, offering a crisp viewing experience. A clean, practical body suitable for regular use.
