The lens hood for the Summarit 50mm f1.5, XOONS, later coded 12520. It is made of brass with a black crinkle paint finish, offering impressive craftsmanship and a sense of solidity rarely found in modern industrial products.
It fits not only the Summarit but also the Leitz Xenon 50mm.
Although it appears rather bulky for a 50mm hood, it looks surprisingly neat even when mounted on a compact Barnack body, highlighting the refined design aesthetic of Leica.

There is some loss of black paint on various parts. It shows natural signs of use and is in a condition ideal for heavy, everyday shooting. No dents or distortions are present.
