Self-timer for Barnack Leica cameras. The product code is APDOO, later code 14003. Black and chrome finish. Manufactured from 1938 to around 1965.
This example is a late, postwar version with a chrome dial and black-painted markings. It pairs especially well with chrome or semi-chrome Barnack bodies.

To install, remove the Leica shutter release collar and screw this self-timer in its place. Turn the timer dial and pull up the lever; the shutter will be released after approximately 10 to 15 seconds.

There is one faint linear scratch extending from the center of the dial. Aside from some very light rub marks and small scratches, the overall appearance remains clean and presentable.
Mounted and operation checked. The shutter fires with a pleasant zzzzz sound. In rare cases, it may not operate normally depending on compatibility with the camera body; if that happens, please feel free to contact us.
Condition suitable for practical use. Perfect for group photos with a Barnack Leica (laugh).
