FISON lens hood for the Elmar 50mm. Leitz product code: FISON / 12510.
A long-running lens hood for the Elmar 50mm f3.5, produced in gradually evolving forms since around the introduction of the Leica A in 1925. A36 clamp-on type.
This example has a shiny chrome finish. A perfect companion for Leica DII, DIII, IIIa, IIIb, and other classic screw-mount Leica cameras.

There are some small scratches and light scuffs, but no dents or deformation to the hood, and it remains in reasonably good condition.
The matte black paint on the inside of the hood is also well preserved.
Tested for proper fit on our Elmar 50mm f3.5.
