Leicavit MP Chrome. Leitz product codes are SYOOM-M, SMYOM, or 14018. This Leicavit is compatible with the Leica M2 and Leica MP, and features the large tripod thread.

While M-series Leicas adopted lever film advance, fitting this Leicavit allows even faster winding and rapid shooting.

It looks superb on the MP, of course, but the combination with an M2, with the Leicavit fitted beneath its rewind-button-era body, is especially attractive. It is a classic setup that many Leica enthusiasts have admired at least once.

There are a fair number of light scuffs and small scratches. While it shows signs of regular use, it is still in reasonably good cosmetic condition for an MP Leicavit. There are no dents or impact marks.

We have confirmed that it mounts properly on a Leica M2, and it operates smoothly.

Depending on the individual camera body, a Leicavit may occasionally be difficult to mount due to compatibility or fitting differences. If necessary, we can also provide adjustment service separately.
