Leitz 28mm viewfinder. Lightweight plastic body. The Leitz product code is 12017. Introduced as the successor to the metal 28mm viewfinder SLOOZ / 12007. This example is an early Leitz Canada production with the Leitz logo, and features parallax correction lines.

It may be a bit unfair to compare this plastic version directly with the classic SLOOZ, but at only about 17g in actual weight, its remarkable lightness is a major advantage. Look through the finder and you will find that unmistakable Leitz clarity, with a bright and crisp view.

An excellent choice for those looking to keep their setup as light as possible.

There are almost no signs of wear such as scuffs or shine from use, and it retains a very clean appearance.
There is a very small amount of dust inside the finder, but the view remains clear and pleasant. Overall, this is a particularly clean example for this finder.
A leather case and the original box are included.
