A beautifully designed hood with a clean and simple trumpet-shaped form that enhances the look of your camera and lens. Beyond its practical shading effect, it simply makes the whole setup look wonderfully elegant and cool.
Incidentally, the SOOHN hood was also produced by Leitz New York, but the German-made version stands apart with its more carefully finished details, including the interior treatment of the hood.
The white engraved lettering is perfectly balanced, and together with its attractive sculpted form, gives the hood a truly beautiful presence.
A somewhat scarce hood.

Paint loss can be seen on the front rim and base of the hood. The hood itself also shows honest signs of long use and handling over the years. There is no distortion, and it remains perfectly suited for practical use.
It would pair beautifully with a well-used Leica body at just the right stage of wear.
Confirmed to mount properly on the lens.
