PC Super-Angulon-R 28mm f2.8. A shift lens designed for Leica R mount, manufactured by Schneider as an OEM product. Made in Germany. Introduced in 1988, it features a complex design with 10 elements in 12 groups and a floating mechanism. The aperture is manual only. Minimum focusing distance is 30 cm.

As the name PC = Perspective Control suggests, the shift mechanism allows perspective correction photography. Using the knobs at the base, the lens can be shifted 11 mm horizontally and 9.5 mm vertically. Additionally, the lens itself can be rotated by 45 degrees or 90 degrees.

Slight paint loss from use can be seen, but the overall appearance is very clean.
The lens was professionally cleaned in September 2025. The operation of the aperture and helicoid is smooth and responsive.
There is minor coating deterioration around the periphery of the front element, but it has virtually no effect on shooting. Other than that, no noticeable cleaning marks or haze are present, and the glass is clear and bright.
Some signs of use are visible, but it comes with the 12540 hood, front and rear caps, and a leather case.
