Leica M Monochrom, a camera dedicated exclusively to black and white photography. This is the second generation, Type 246, with Leica product code 10930. The base body was updated from the M9 to the M240, and the sensor changed from CCD to CMOS.
The 24-megapixel sensor, stripped of a Bayer color filter, is specialized for monochrome and delivers images with outstanding resolution and clarity.
With the M240 base, overall performance such as speed, stability, and ISO tolerance has been greatly improved, with a significantly higher maximum ISO. The larger battery capacity also allows for extended shooting sessions. Notably, the M240 series is the only M-mount Leica capable of video recording. This Typ 246 also supports video recording, naturally only in monochrome, making it possible to enjoy expressive video with unique rendering when paired with vintage lenses.

There are minor signs of use consistent with regular handling, but no noticeable scratches or scuffs. It is in just the right condition for enjoying plenty of shooting. All functions operate properly. The sensor shows no dirt or scratches. Test shots also delivered excellent results.
The set includes the original box, warranty card (expired, Japan domestic product), inspection certificate, manual, charger with cables, strap, and body cap. Our store warranty covers initial defects only, but as a digital M camera based on the still-reliable Type 240, it will continue to serve well for years to come.
