XOONS hood for the Summarit 50mm f1.5. The later product code is 12520. Made of brass with a black crinkle finish, it is beautifully constructed, with a substantial feel rarely seen in modern industrial products.

It can be used not only with the Summarit, but also with its predecessor, the Leitz Xenon 50mm.

It may look rather large for a 50mm lens hood, but even when mounted on a compact Barnack Leica, it looks surprisingly well balanced, reflecting Leica's excellent sense of design.

The hood is in excellent condition, showing almost no signs of use.

Tested and confirmed to fit the lens properly.
