Leica’s classic external 35mm finder, SBLOO. The later product code is 12010. This example is the less common late version. The accessory shoe foot on the bottom was changed to a flat type, and the Leitz logo appears in script. Compared to the early version, it has a more modern appearance.
Not only for Barnack Leicas and the M3, which lack a built-in 35mm frame, but even when mounted on Leica bodies with integrated frames, it instantly lifts your spirits.

There are marks and a dent on the eyepiece side that appear to have been caused by a drop. In addition, there is very faint surface wear on the top of the finder.
It was disassembled and cleaned by a professional specialist in 2025. The glass is clear and free from haze or scratches, offering a bright and crisp view with excellent clarity.
It has been tested and confirmed to mount properly on our Leica M3. Ready for practical use.
