Its rear monitor is omitted, giving it a design that mimics film Leicas. Like the M Monochrom, the front carries no Leica logo, instead featuring the elegant white script Leica logo on the top plate, creating a refined and striking look.
An audacious model that deliberately abandons the convenience functions typical of digital cameras, such as a rear screen and multiple buttons. Following the avant-garde spirit of the M Monochrom, the M10-D features a thumb rest inspired by the film advance lever of the Leica M3 and M2. This not only adds playful design but also enhances practical usability.
With no rear monitor, the experience evokes the imagination of shooting film. Through the Leica FOTOS app, settings and previews can be managed via smartphone, effectively making the phone the rear monitor. This represents a major improvement in usability over its predecessor. Other highlights include the quieter shutter sound compared with the standard M10, and the superior handling comfort made possible by the absence of a rear screen.

There are a few very minor scuffs near the strap lugs, but overall it is a clean example. Test shots have been taken and all functions operate properly. The sensor shows no scratches or dirt, and the finder provides a crisp and clear view. Our store warranty covers initial defects only (7 days), but in February 2025 the camera was inspected by Leica Japan, with image sensor alignment and cleaning performed.
