※About rarity

The Rollei C35 is an entry-level model in the Rollei 35 series, designed without a built-in light meter. It was manufactured in Germany from 1969 to 1975.

The camera is equipped with a Carl Zeiss Triotar 40mm lens, featuring a 3-element, 3-group triplet design. While edge performance is somewhat modest, the central sharpness is highly regarded and compares favorably with Tessar and Sonnar lenses, offering excellent clarity.

Weighing approximately 251g, it is about the same weight as a fixed-barrel Summicron lens. Among the compact and lightweight Rollei 35 series, the even lighter C35 is a perfect companion for casual snapshots and strolls.

Focusing is done via zone focusing, but thanks to the deep depth of field provided by the lens design, accurate focus can be achieved with practice.

This item was previously sold by our store and has now returned after being carefully used by the customer.

There is a very shallow dent on the top cover and some scuffing near the Rollei logo on the front, but overall the appearance is quite clean.

While a fair amount of dust is visible inside the lens, there are no cleaning marks or haze. Upon request, we can provide a professional glass cleaning service for an additional fee.

As is common with the Rollei 35 series, the collapsible lens mechanism can be slightly delicate. Please be sure to perform each step of collapsing and extending the lens slowly and carefully.

Comes with the original strap, case, and a UV filter. It's ready to slip into your pocket and take out for immediate shooting.
