Visoflex III type. Following the screw mount Type I and the early M-mount Type II, it was introduced in 1963. Leica code is 16498. The pentaprism and mirror housing come as a set.
Improved from the Visoflex II, it features a dial at the base of the shutter lever that allows switching mirror speeds, enabling a wider range of shooting.
Exclusively for M-mount Leica bodies. An accessory that lets you enjoy the feel of an SLR shutter on a rangefinder body.
Practical advantages aside, it can also be mounted on digital Leica cameras. Please note that it cannot be used with the Leica CL.
The lens mount surface shows almost no marks from mounting or removal, and the overall appearance is clean with minimal signs of use.
A few specks of dust and slight haze are visible in the prism, but the view remains clear and pleasing.
In recent years, Visoflex lenses have often been used digitally thanks to the availability of various adapters, but their renowned optical performance can also be fully enjoyed on film.
