Wide-angle lens by Leitz, Elmarit-M 21mm f2.8, later E60 version. Leica product code is 11134. Serial number is in the 3.36 million range, manufactured in 1985.
This was the first 21mm lens from Leica to adopt a retrofocus design, making it usable with all M-mount Leica cameras, including the M5 and CL. It features a 6-group 8-element optical construction, with a minimum focusing distance of 0.7 meters. Filter size is E60. The appropriate hood, not included with this lens, is model 12543.
Unlike the Super-Angulon, it does not produce pronounced color shifts, making it a more practical lens for everyday use.
There are no signs of use and the exterior is in excellent condition. No mounting marks are visible on the lens mount.
The helicoid and aperture ring operate smoothly, and rangefinder coupling is accurate.
There is a very slight coating deterioration on the glass, but it has no noticeable impact on actual shooting. Other than that, there are no visible cleaning marks or haze, making it a clean optical condition.
Comes with the original E60 UVa filter and front and rear caps.
