Leitz 35mm mini finder WEISU, also known as WEISO. An exquisitely designed and stylish viewfinder with excellent clarity. Prewar production, manufactured between 1933 and 1943. Its minimal and compact design suits not only Barnack Leicas but also M-series models beautifully. A charming Leica accessory that pairs perfectly with flat lenses such as the Elmar 35mm f3.5 or the compact Summaron 35mm. Somewhat scarce.

There is a small dent with a fine crack below the eyepiece. Other parts show scuffs and light scratches that speak of its long years of use. A touch of brass is visible along the edges, giving it a tasteful, vintage look.
It was professionally disassembled and cleaned by a specialist in September 2025. There is a minor chip on the edge of the front lens element, but it has been properly repaired. The front glass shows a few faint cleaning marks, yet the view through it remains clear and pleasant.
A WEISU finder you can use without worry — it pairs beautifully with a well-used Barnack Leica.
