This third-generation Summicron 35mm lens, with a 5-group, 7-element design, represents the matured evolution of Leica M wide-angle lenses. Although the external design has been significantly simplified, its optical performance remains superb. It offers rich, creamy bokeh, excellent tonal gradation, and outstanding resolving power, all wrapped in a minimal and functional design. At just 156g (measured weight), it is delightfully lightweight.

The dedicated hood for this generation is model 12524, but other compatible options include IROOA, 12585, and 12504.

No signs of use, retaining the appearance of a brand-new item from its original release. Needless to say, it pairs beautifully even with a modern Leica body.

All functions operate smoothly, with excellent tactile feedback. The rangefinder coupling is also perfectly aligned.

The lens glass is exceptionally clean, with no cleaning marks or haze—crystal clear and pristine. You can fully enjoy the signature rendering that earned it the nickname "Bokeh King".
