Full original M4 Black Paint. There is a patch of touch-up paint over the serial number on the top cover, likely to fix a ding, and its polished shine is somewhat conspicuous. Aside from that, the body is in near-unused, 96% like-new condition, making this repair mark all the more regrettable. The rest of the camera retains a strong impression of being brand new.
Because the overall appearance is so clean, the touched-up spot above the serial number currently draws attention. However, if you continue using the camera daily, that contrast will eventually blend in. Wearing it every day and admiring it even when not shooting might be the quickest way to achieve that. Raising it into a beautifully aged look from here can be part of the enjoyment.
