Lens hood specifically designed for the Summilux 35mm f1.4 1st version, commonly known as the Steel Rim. This hood is called OLLUX, with a later product code of 12522H.

This particular piece is the earlier version engraved with OLLUX, which was later renamed to 12522. Moreover, it is the second variation among the OLLUX-marked hoods, featuring engraved arrows on both sides.

With its stylish design and precise construction, this hood perfectly complements the performance and appearance of the early Summilux lens.

There are some signs of wear and paint loss, but the condition is just right for practical use—not overly pristine. Confirmed to fit securely on the lens without any looseness, specifically on the early version of the Summilux 35mm f1.4.

When paired with a well-used Leica body and the white version of the Summilux 35mm f1.4, or the rare black steel rim, it will surely create a wonderful aesthetic.
