Nicknamed the Kamisori(Razor) Elmar for its high resolving power and sharp rendering. It offers excellent clarity and natural color reproduction. Weighing only 224g (measured), it is remarkably lightweight and compact for a 90mm lens.
One of the truly outstanding lenses that combines excellent image quality, stylish appearance, and smooth handling.
There are faint scuffs on the helicoid ring, but overall it shows very little sign of use and has a very clean appearance. Fully overhauled in September 2025. The aperture and helicoid now have a smooth and refined feel, with a pleasing operation that makes you want to turn the helicoid for no reason. Rangefinder coupling is perfect. On the edge of the front element, there is one very small spot of coating deterioration, but it does not affect the image. Other than that, there are no wipe marks or haze, and the glass is clear and bright. Test shots were excellent, delivering the sharp and crisp rendering the lens is known for. Comes with original front and rear caps.
